It consist of a petri-dish adapter to accommodate 50 to 150 mm sized dish and has a counting range of 0 - 999, magnification of 3 - 9times  and useful for estimation of liquid cell culture density, individual colonies on agar, slide, gel or petri dish, Ames testing, bacterial mutation assays, and E. coli bacterial colonies.
